Course Objective
This program integrates technical, managerial, and entrepreneurial concepts in construction project management, equipping students with essential knowledge and skills for contemporary construction practices. Delivered by a multidisciplinary team of academics and industry experts, it addresses challenges in managing complex construction projects, emphasizing resource efficiency, environmental considerations, and social impacts. Students gain leadership skills, the ability to analyze and improve business processes, and the capacity to evaluate sustainable design proposals. They also develop advanced research knowledge, effective communication, and the capability to plan and execute research projects independently.
Upon completion of the program, students will have the expertise to lead multidisciplinary teams in sustainable construction projects, understand essential management components, evaluate environmental impacts, foster teamwork for effective solutions, and conduct advanced research while communicating professionally.

Assessment
Assessment of modules comprises assessable coursework and/or a final written examination. The assessable coursework may include individual and/or group assignments such as project proposals, reports, business plans, written assignments, presentations, essays, case studies, tests, and/or syndicate work.

Program delivery
This course is entirely delivered in Singapore. Students will have access to locally qualified lecturers and academic resources provided by the Nanyang Institute of Management. There will be a combination of lectures, tutorials, site visits, workshops, seminars, and presentations. Students may also be given additional work to complete outside of scheduled classes. Resources and materials provided for students include lecture notes and references for further reading in books, publications, articles, and websites.
