Graduate Diploma in Business – Level 7

The Graduate Diploma in Business is designed for people who have an undergraduate degree from any discipline area who want to develop knowledge and skills in business-related fields of study. The program will give the student applied business education within a New Zealand context. The program will explicitly connect the student to the global business labor market need (especially New Zealand’s long-term skill shortage and skill migrant categories) in line with NZIBT’s stated strategy.

Graduates will have a better understanding of knowledge and skills used for a business or management role. They will be able to apply those skills and knowledge directly in their intended workplace. Graduates must leave the program with enthusiasm for business management, marketing, and project management and an ability to continue their own personal development: conducting research, developing and extending their ideas, technical knowledge, and skills. Students will have all of the necessary building blocks and understanding to continue into postgraduate and Master’s study pathways.
