Introduction

Graduates of this 4-year degree can apply for the academic recognition of their degree from ATEEN and graduates have successfully achieved a license as a Psychologist under Greek law. The program includes an internship/placement in the final semester – enhancing employability and acceptance on postgraduate training programs. It's a flexible program; students can select how many classes they wish to take each semester and have some flexibility about the order of the courses and which electives they wish to take. It can be combined with working as there are many classes in the mornings and evenings.

Students who complete the NYC/Empire State College undergraduate program can follow many career options such as (to name a few), human services specialists, personnel analysts, psychologists-psychotherapists, psychometric development specialists, and counselors. All psychology major students, upon completion of their studies, can apply to join the APA (American Psychological Society) or the BPS (British Psychology Society) as graduate members and to pursue the status of Charted – licensed psychologists.
