Levels 1 and 2 – Low Beginner and High Beginner:

These courses are intended for students with little or no English Language proficiency. The instructional goal is to develop skills in all areas of language usage: reading, writing, speaking, listening, pronunciation, grammar. The units focus on subject areas and skills that are essential for everyday situations, including a variety of activities and vocabulary building exercises.


Levels 3 and 4 – Low Intermediate and High Intermediate:

These courses are designed for students with an intermediate level of English comprehension who wish to expand their English Language proficiency in all areas. At this level, reading, writing, speaking, listening, pronunciation, grammar will be reinforced. The units focus on subject areas and skills that are essential for social and academic purposes. Activities and vocabulary building exercises will incorporate relevant themes support these units.


Levels 5 and 6 – Low Advanced and Advanced:

These courses are designed for students with an Advanced level of English comprehension who demonstrated a level 5 or 6 on the EPT (English Placement Test, University of Michigan). Students will reinforce grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading and writing abilities through content-based lessons. Students will also expand their knowledge and application of these English principles, with a special focus on presentation skills, grammar usage in writing and reading comprehension, and projects, both individual and group.

Tutorials are held free of charge for students on Fridays from 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
