Mission Statement

Neapolis University Pafos (NUP) is one of the leading private Universities of Cyprus. Established in 2010, NUP, is a vibrant academic institution with emphasis in the provision of high-quality Higher Education and the creation of cutting-edge applied knowledge, focusing, in parallel, on the provision of optimal academic services to its academic community and the broader society, at a national as well as at an international level.

Under the leadership of its Chairman, Mr. George M. Leptos, the strategic goal and vision of the late founder of Neapolis University Pafos, Mr. Michalakis G. Leptos, is to develop a human-centred educational organization of international quality standards, of heightened social responsibility and of excellent academic practices. NUP aims to contribute to social cohesion and evolution; to the progression of science via processes of interactive and innovative learning pedagogies and the development of research; and to the development of high-level new scientists and professionals in contemporary fields of knowledge. Through the new and updated Study Programmes of Neapolis University Pafos, the program curricula of NUP promote the appreciation of cutting-edge knowledge and research, and create greater potential and opportunities in the new industries. NUP Degrees offer students relevant knowledge and the appropriate skills and competencies for their smooth and successful integration into cutting-edge jobs of the 4th IR and 21st-century communities.

Facilities

Restaurant /Cafeteria

The on-campus restaurant offers a wide selection of homemade food with a choice of local and international dishes. The restaurant area is designed and adequately equipped to function as a cafeteria and hosts a variety of entertainment events.

Gym

Neapolis University Pafos has its own gym and training personnel. It features a variety of gym equipment for any type of exercise.

Pool

The Neapolis University Pafos swimming pool is Xm long at full length. The depth of the pool ranges from Xm at its most shallow point to Xm at the deep end. The pool features an artistic fountain in the middle, which complements the surrounding greenery of the outside area of the campus. Pool entry is free of charge, but it can only be used in the presence of one of our lifeguards, which can be requested at the reception area. Pool rules must always be followed, or entry to the pool will be denied.

Laboratories

Civil Engineering Lab

The Civil Engineering Lab is housed in an independent space of 200 m2 in the campus area, constructed at a level slightly lower than the ground level, having perimetric natural lighting from a series of skylights and a 24-seat capacity lecturing/presentation area.

Computer Science Lab

The University has two computer labs used for our computer-related classes. These run typical desktop and word processing software on Microsoft Windows to support your studies, plus dedicated software for teaching, including programming languages.

Architecture Labs

The Department has 2 studios, beautiful and highly atmospheric spaces for the students of the Department of Architecture, which can accommodate approximately 60 students each. Both studios are fully equipped with working tables, modern interactive whiteboards, have wired and wireless internet connections, individual lockers and library corners.

The Department also has the following equipment:

  • Wood Workshop (with work benches and tools appropriate for furniture and model making)
  • 3D Printing Studio (2 x 3D printers)
  • Laser Cutter for MDF/wood
  • Two plotters
  • 2D and 3D hot wire cutting and vacuum forming machinery

Lecture Classrooms

Classroom with university-level desks that face the teaching area. All classrooms contain lecterns/desks with fully embedded technology.

Amphitheatre

Amphitheatrically designed room with university-level desks that face the teaching area. Our Amphitheatre contains a lectern and an interactive whiteboard with fully embedded technology.

    Advisory Boards

    They operate per School, Department and/or per Study Programme, aiming to contribute to the overall development and advancement of the School and the University, composed of well-known academic experts and professionals at the national or international level. They contribute to the interconnection of the Schools and, by extension, to bridging the University with the broader academic community and the “industry”.

    Research

    The Scientific Centres and Laboratories of the University create a hub of primary research activity by connecting the University community with professional bodies and the labour market and disseminating new knowledge for the benefit of civil society and the wider academic community.

    The University Campus offers high-quality accommodation within the premises. Student rooms are fully furnished, spacious, airy, well lit and have a bathroom and a balcony overlooking the sea or indoor gardens. There is easy access to the rooms and public areas.

    Fitness Center

    Given the correlation between physical and mental health and well-being, at Neapolis University, both sports and fitness are heavily promoted and encouraged. The campus has a gym, outdoor pool, sauna, changing rooms and modern tennis courts. The gym provides many workout programs.

    Student Life at Neapolis University

    Student Care provides quality services and information on curriculum, student life, regulations and generally anything that students may need during their studies at Neapolis University. Essentially, the Student Care is the link between students and Neapolis University.

    Student Support

    The Welfare Support Office provides academic, financial, and advisory support services and information on matters relating to studies, student life, and regulations during students' studies at Neapolis University, serving as a link between the student community and the University.
