Key Summary

About: The Chemical Engineering program explores the principles of chemistry, physics, mathematics, and biology to design, develop, and optimize chemical processes. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on experiences and real-world problem-solving, equipping students with the skills needed for various industrial applications.
Career Outcomes: Graduates can pursue careers as chemical engineers, process engineers, research scientists, or work in roles within the energy, pharmaceuticals, and materials sectors. They may also find opportunities in environmental consulting, safety engineering, and project management.

It is proposed to train professionals who use the bases and technologies of Chemical Engineering in the research, design, development, and application of new products and processes in a wide range of productive sectors related to chemistry, being able to communicate technical information in an understandable way for audiences. various.

Professionals will be enabled to carry out a study, feasibility, project, management, construction, installation, inspection, operation, and maintenance (except civil and industrial works) of industries that involve chemical, physical-chemical, and bio-engineering processes and their complementary facilities, of facilities where unitary operations and/or unitary industrial processes intervene, of facilities designed to avoid environmental pollution by effluents of all kinds originating from industries and/or their services, and of equipment, machinery, apparatus, and instruments for the industries indicated in previously.

These professionals will be able to carry out studies, tasks, and advice related to the functional aspect of the aforementioned industrial and service constructions and their complementary works and facilities.
