Introduction

The Department of Electrical Engineering at National Chung Cheng University started as a graduate institute in July 1990, and the undergraduate program was established in 1992. The Ph.D. program and another undergraduate class were added in 1993 and 1999, respectively. It is one of the best institutes in Taiwan for the education and training of professionals in electrical engineering.

The PhD program, which provides academic training for students aiming to pursue an academic career in electrical engineering at higher education or research institutions, is tailor-made to suit students' different needs in their future academic research. With the guidance from the advisers, curriculums are designed to best fit students’ needs in their future research direction.
