I chose Modul University Vienna for its strong reputation in tourism and hospitality education, its international environment, and its great location in Vienna, a city known for its rich culture and vibrant tourism industry. The university has rather exceeded my expectations with its good-quality curriculum, professional faculty, and many networking opportunities. A particularly memorable learning experience was visiting hotel properties as part of my Service Quality Management class during my Master program. This 'learning by doing' approach allowed me to see and understand how hotels operate up close. Being exposed to real-world environments and practices helped bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. - MSc in International Tourism Management

Modul really helped me find my footing professionally. I took a career seminar on how to approach job interviews, and that directly led to my internship at OMV, which was an important first step into the professional world. Later on, through a staff member at Modul, I got a working student position at a South African software development company. Both experiences gave me practical insight and confirmed my interest in consulting. - MSc in Management

An MBA had long been my dream, though for years it felt out of reach because of the high tuition costs. Thanks to the MODUL University MBA Merit Fellowship, which covered nearly all of my tuition, that dream finally became achievable. At 27, with some professional experience behind me, studying at MODUL - alongside inspiring colleagues from around the world - was both a personal challenge and a formative experience. Coming from Rijeka, a small Croatian city where I was born and raised, completing the program reminded me that opportunities are open to anyone, regardless of background, and that with determination, you can rise to meet even the toughest challenges. After graduation, I embraced a new professional opportunity and joined the University of Rijeka’s Centre for Research and Innovation - a team actually led by another MODUL alumnus. - MBA alumni

The curriculum for the Applied Data Science Program at Modul University effectively blends theoretical knowledge with practical applications. Courses typically start with a theoretical foundation, followed by hands-on projects that allow us to apply what we've learned. This approach ensures that we are not just preparing for exams but gaining real-world experience that will be extremely important and valuable in our future careers. Additionally, the supportive environment and close-knit community at Modul University have significantly contributed to my growth. The professors incorporate real-life scenarios and challenges into their teaching, which prepares us for the professional world. Additionally, the small class sizes encourage active participation and improve our presentation skills, helping us become confident communicators regardless of the audience size. - BSc in Applied Data Science
