Are you an adult professional with work experience, some college credits, and a desire to earn a bachelor's degree? This program offers working adults flexibility while earning a credential that advances their career goals and professional marketability. The curriculum allows you a customizable college experience that focuses on skills employers require across a broad range of industries. Courses include those in your chosen specialization, augmented by courses in critical thinking, problem-solving, leadership, communications, and management.

Prior learning credits awarded for life experience are demonstrated by:

The program also offers a prior learner protocol of non-credit-bearing courses that will guide you through the assessment and portfolio process in order to gain credit for your work and life experience.

You may transfer up to a total of 90 credits that include college credits, National Exams credits such as CLEP exams, Certifications and Licenses, etc.

A minimum of 30 credits must be completed at the College.

Bachelor's in Professional Studies Curriculum

The BS in Professional Studies consists of 120 credits. Students are required to complete 30 credits of core courses that include a 3-credit integrative professional studies capstone project, 30 credits of applicable specialization requirements, 30 credits of general education/liberal arts elective courses tailored to the student’s learning goals, and 30 credits of open electives.
