About: The Diploma of Engineering at Monash Professional Pathways (Monash College) prepares you for a Monash Engineering degree. It has two parts: Part 1 covers math and science theory; Part 2 covers first-year engineering subjects, specialist knowledge and practical skills. Assessments include tests, quizzes, group projects, presentations, poster presentations, tutorial assessments and a final exam.
Career Outcomes: Graduates can continue into a Monash Engineering degree and into engineering careers. Typical pathways include graduate engineer, design engineer, project engineer, engineering technician, research assistant and industry internships. Skills apply to civil, mechanical, electrical, software engineering, construction, manufacturing and consulting and systems integration.
