Course information
On this course, you’ll develop a powerful blend of business acumen and AI knowledge. From day one, you’ll dive into how AI is reshaping industries and explore practical ways to apply AI in real business scenarios.
In your first semester, you’ll build a solid foundation in AI principles, sustainable operations and emerging technologies like Internet of Things, Extended Reality, and Blockchain. You’ll explore how Industry 4.0 is revolutionising business processes and understand the ethical implications of using AI responsibly.
Semester two sharpens your practical skills. You’ll get hands-on with machine learning tools, learn how to manage and visualise complex data using Power BI, and develop leadership skills to drive digital transformation in diverse, global teams. You’ll explore agile methodologies, digital project management and the concept of explainable AI to ensure transparency and trust in AI solutions.
In your final semester, you’ll conduct a research project on a topic that excites you, giving you the chance to investigate an AI-related challenge that aligns with your professional ambitions. You’ll apply everything you’ve learned, from research design and data analysis to presenting evidence-based recommendations.

Year 1
This course is taught across three semesters from September to September.
You’ll study several core modules, covering topics like principles of artificial intelligence and AI for sustainable operations. You’ll then complete your research project in the final semester during the summer months.
Throughout your studies you can choose to engage in extra-curricular activities such as the Rise programme, which provides you with opportunities to undertake additional training and qualifications such as carbon literacy training and Microsoft and Adobe certifications.

Business School International Postgraduate Scholarship
International students who have been accepted onto this course, when applicable, may be eligible for a £5,000 scholarship in the first year of study, meaning the fee you pay will be £17,500. We will assess your eligibility when you apply to this course. You do not need to apply to this scholarship separately.
