Course information
The Manchester Met MBA is designed with the challenges of modern times in mind. With teaching informed by research and aligned to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, this course will enable you to lead responsibly, sustainably and globally.
You will learn from industry-connected academics who bring their extensive global business experience into the classroom, using real case studies and organisational situations. Each module will also feature a guest lecture, delivered by industry leaders from the UK and overseas.
Our hybrid teaching model gives you the flexibility to choose how you attend each module, either on campus or online, without compromising your overall experience. Teaching is delivered in three-day blocks with no weekly campus attendance, so you can balance an MBA alongside work, life and everything in between. There are no examinations on the Manchester Met MBA, our assessments are designed to help you hone the skills you need in business, so you can apply your learning straight away.
Over two years, you will study eight 15 credit modules – four in year one and four in year two. You will also complete two 30 credit, end of year projects – one in year one and one in year two. The Manchester Met MBA requires some in-person attendance, but you may choose to attend up to four modules online over the two years.
You’ll also have the opportunity to join the cohort on a study abroad trip, a fantastic opportunity to build connections and increase your understanding of global business contexts.
Year 1
This course is a masters qualification and consists of 180 credits.
In Year 1 you will complete four 15 credit units and one 30 credit project.
