Manchester: A Global City
Manchester is considered a northern business hub and home to the headquarters of many national and international firms, with lots of graduate opportunities. You’ll find exciting roles in small agencies, large firms, and everything in between. This puts us in the perfect place to offer an education rooted in the real world – with relevant skills, useful experience, and valuable connections to support your every ambition. You'll study in a city with a wide range of employers and a demand for ambitious graduates.
Future You
You will have the opportunity to attend networking events, careers fairs, and assessment centres, all embedded within the course, where placement and graduate employers will be actively recruiting you.
Each year, the course sends placement students out to gain experience across every sector, from consulting with Deloitte, project managing with National Highways, delivering outstanding customer service with Enterprise, managing brands with Unilever, and merchandising with Matalan. There are many more opportunities, including employers from the North-West who recruit exclusively from Manchester Met in both the public and private sectors.
From your second year, you’ll complete major projects. You’ll apply your knowledge to the operations of a business, contribute to business innovation and transformation through consultancy, as well as work on projects that focus on influencing positive change for communities and sustainability. These experiences will set you apart from the competition when it comes to graduate roles.
You might also like to consider postgraduate study or research in a specialised area like the LLM, Management and Sustainability, or Project Management.
