Manchester Metropolitan University has been a historic and internationally recognised institution since 1824. Known for the quality of our teaching, we are ranked as one of the top 60 universities in the UK (Complete University Guide 2024).

Our University, located in the centre of Manchester, is home to a diverse community of more than 5,000 international students from over 120 countries. Manchester is an exciting and vibrant city with museums, galleries, theatres, and music venues. It has been ranked as the third-best student city in the UK (QS Best Student Cities 2024) and one of the most affordable cities for students in England (NatWest Student Living Index 2023).

Moreover, we have over £400 million planned to develop our facilities and public spaces, and we have already invested in our Grosvenor building for the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, School of Digital Arts, Institute of Sport and the Dalton building, which is a redevelopment for the Faculty of Science and Engineering.

At Manchester Met, we are also committed to recognising high-achieving international students and offer a comprehensive range of scholarships, including General and Vice-Chancellor’s International Regional Scholarships or our Business School International Postgraduate Scholarship.
