Our unique Master’s degree program in Educational Leadership preparation carefully selects cohort members each spring to begin a 15-month modular program consisting of 39 semester hours, which begin in the summer term. The faculty offers experienced and innovative perspectives and provides a series of modules focusing on six dimensions of leadership, including:

  • Personal/Interpretational
  • Instructional
  • Organizational
  • Resource
  • Political
  • Informational

Your course curriculum will be integrated with seminars, practicums, and internships, and culminate in formal internships during the last semester of preparation.

Mississippi College also offers the Doctor of Education Program in Educational Leadership for professionals in education who wish to assume leadership roles in K-12 settings. Students can enroll during the spring semester of each year and may enter with a Master’s degree, but must complete the specialist degree before beginning doctoral level courses.
