Space and Satellite Engineering is a new field of study at the Military University of Technology that prepares graduates to work in the field of innovative space and satellite techniques. Graduates receive a first-cycle degree in space and satellite engineering and the professional title of engineer.

The course was created in response to the labor market demand for highly qualified specialists with knowledge and practical skills in the design, testing and development of electronic, optoelectronic and mechatronic systems used in space technology, as well as the basics of planning and supervision of orbital space missions, including methods of analysis and interpretation of obtained observational data .
