Introduction
This two-year degree prepares students for a career in computer graphics and/or web design. Students learn techniques to build a web site using proper design principles and create and edit graphics using both film and digital formats.
Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of graphic editing software and graphic file formats;
- Create simple and complex publications;
- Demonstrate basic use of typography;
- Apply basic design principles to publications;
- Recognize and edit HTML code;
- Design a web site using an HTML editor;
- Implement web animation and motion graphics;
- Publish and maintain a website;
- Understand ethical responsibilities linked to graphic and web design.
