Introduction
At the undergraduate level the Department aims particularly to equip students with up-to-date knowledge and practical skills required for K-12 computer teachers. Computer laboratories are available to enrich the theoretical background of prospective teachers. An important objective given a high priority by the Department is to provide its teacher graduates with relevant contemporary information, training, and prerequisite skills to enable them to guide their students to the year 2000 and beyond.
