Information Technology, Master of Engineering

The degree consists of Professional Studies (30 ECTS credits) and Masters thesis project (30 ECTS credits). Studies consist of lectures, laboratory work, workshops, assignments, and projects as well as independent studying.

The program is divided into two fields of specialization (learning paths): Networking and Services, and Medical Technology. The selection is asked in the application process. A field of specialization is started only if enough eligible students have passed the application process.

Trends in ICT

• Presentations from external representatives in the field of ICT covering new services, business models and other innovations effecting the overall ecosystem

Research Methods and Skills

• Research approaches (action research, multiple and single case studies, construction research approach

After graduating with a Master of Engineering Degree in Information Technology, you may work in advanced specialist tasks in international engineering surroundings of ICT and medical technology industries. In some sectors a Masters degree is often a prerequisite for management positions.
