Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to:

• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the human body.
• Successfully perform and/or describe experiments that test hypotheses, including the collection and analysis of data.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the scientific method and applications of scientific theories to personal health.

• Organic Chemistry 5
• Introductory General Chemistry 4

Group D: Select one course for 3-4 units from the following:

• Exploring Health Issues 3
• Nutrition 4
• Nutrition and Disease 3

*NUTR 10 is the same as BIOL 31 at Alameda and BIOL 28 at Laney; maximum credit: one course.
