At Middlesex University Mauritius, we provide the BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance to cater for the need of well-rounded finance professionals, both for the requirements of the country and for the surrounding countries, especially in Africa, which is fast developing.
Our Accounting & Finance graduates have been successful in pursuing their careers at several of the Big Four firms, as well as other organisations. The strong grounding of this programme ensures that our graduates are able to work in various sectors such as the Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing, and Tourism & Hospitality as well as pursue a career in Audit.
Course Highlights
- You will gain advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of accounting and finance and learn to understand management concepts within an international business context.
- By studying BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance, students will upon graduation, receive a number of exemptions from leading professional accounting bodies such as the ACCA, CIMA and the ICAEW among others.
- Throughout your time, you will develop a set of interpersonal and transferable skills such as working in teams, presentation skills, analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. You will develop your numerical as well as written and verbal skills, ensuring you have the required communication skills to perform effectively in a business environment.
You can also receive financial support to help with the cost of your studies that is based on your personal circumstances. Scholarships recognise your academic excellence and other achievements and, unlike a loan, you don't have to pay them back.
Scholarships can reduce your tuition fees or help pay your living expenses. You are only eligible to receive one scholarship award from Middlesex University.
