About: The MA Creative Music Technologies is a skills-conversion programme for graduates from any discipline who have musical ability. It covers composition, sound recording and engineering, computer music programming and acoustics, and gives full access to Music Technology Labs and studio space. You can work on recording and production projects, have compositions performed, and get individual tutorial time with a designated advisor and expert advice from active composers and researchers.

Career Outcomes: Graduates work in PhD study (electronic composition; interface design), music software development, music production/post-production, sound engineering, third-level education, arts administration, radio production, and related audio roles and research.

The MA in Creative Music Technologies degree is a skills conversion programme. The programme is aimed at graduates with musical abilities, who would like to explore musical applications of technology. The programme accepts graduates from any primary degree.

The programme is concerned with a range of areas relating to music technology including composition, sound recording and engineering, computer music programming and acoustics.
