Marietta's athletic training program, a part of the Department of Athletic Training and Sports Medicine, was one of the first in the nation to be accredited as a full major. The Commission accredits our program on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE), which means that successful graduates are qualified to sit for the Board of Certification exam to become certified athletic trainers. Keeping with the long-standing tradition of the athletic training program, Marietta College will begin the Master of Athletic Training Program in the Summer of 2021
