Introduction
MCSM’s Diploma in Natural Medicine’s core curriculum will provide students with the opportunity to develop and acquire an understanding of the basic knowledge, skills, and abilities of complementary medicine to care for patients of all ages. Candidates will gain these abilities and be equipped with highly relevant skills needed in today’s various industries by engaging in structured learning activities both theoretical and clinical. Furthermore, candidates will learn that the principal ethos of Natural Medicine and Traditional Naturopathy is to consider both the patient and the family unit in a holistic way.
At the end of the course, candidates will eventually demonstrate leadership in health advocacy and environmental stewardship, committing to the advancement of the naturopathic profession while collaborating effectively and work in partnership with other health care practitioners. To ensure continued career success and to qualify as a Doctor of Natural Medicine or Advanced Traditional Naturopathic family practitioner or councellor, the candidate should continue to further their career development by acquiring a graduate degree.
