The Program in Computer Science, Faculty of Science, Huaqiao Chalermprakiet University, was launched in 1992 to present year, able to produce at least 10 graduates.

The Department of Computer Science has been improving its curriculum throughout. To comply with the changing era and to encourage students to research computer literacy on their own. In addition, there are 8 computer labs in the school building, including rooms 2-424, 2-425, 2-427, 2-429, 2-430, as well as three other information librarian buildings: Rooms 6-101, 6-102, 6-103, so that students within computer science and other disciplines can use it fully.

At present, economic, social and international communication development is rapid. This is because high technology has been applied, as well as the constant invention of new technologies, electronics and computer technology. That's why the development is extensive.

The Faculty of Science and Technology recognizes rapid changes, has offered basic science and computer science, focusing on producing graduates in computer science to have knowledge of basic science and computer systems in the field of software and hardware that are deep in both theoretical and practical, and can learn new technologies on their own. Research and development is one of the goals that is no less important than the application of graduates of the Faculty of Science and Technology to be encouraged to see the importance of research and development as the cornerstone of Thailand's economic and social development that will result in a reduction in dependence on technology from abroad.
