Maharishi International University is a fully independent, nonprofit, Iowa corporation and is tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code.
In 1971, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi founded the University and developedso students could gain deep self-knowledge while studying the academic field of their choosing.
