Introduction

Be a force for change

As a political science major at Lynn University, you'll advance your understanding of political processes, structures, and functions at the local, regional, national and global levels. Coursework contains both traditional areas of political science and new emerging ideas. As a student in the political science degree program, you'll study political history and international affairs. You'll learn this on a campus where students represent more than 90 countries, so political science can more easily be understood as a function of the cultural, political, and social diversity of the world.

That's not all. You’ll explore areas such as government and leadership, political theories and ideologies, global human rights, public economy, and public policy. Plus, with our longstanding collaboration with the Washington Internship Institute in Washington, D.C., you may be eligible for a full-semester internship and integrated coursework in the U.S. capital.

As a student, you will choose between the American government and politics track to study the American presidency and politics, or international relations and politics track and study global human rights and international law.
