Key Summary
Introduction
The Software Development and Web Services students have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the three most popular mobile platforms: Android, Microsoft Windows, and iOS. The study curricula focus on such subjects as mobile databases, applications programming for the three above-mentioned platforms, designing applications and modeling them, software projects management, gathering information from mobile devices sensors, GIS and GPS usage, and many others. All students will be given a wide knowledge of the most important aspects of creating IT systems for mobile devices.
Key issues and competencies The graduates:
- Possess broad knowledge and skills necessary to create software for such mobile platforms as Android, Microsoft Windows, and iOS
- Can be a member of developers'' teams
- Can manage IT projects
- Can design IT systems with mobile solutions
- Understand application projects created in UML
- Have skills in gathering data from various sensors, processing it, and using
- Can design and create databases for mobile devices
- Know how to use GIS and GPS in IT solutions. Extra requirement: First-degree diploma in the field of Computer Science.
