It culminates in a mandatory 6-month internship, either in Luxembourg or internationally as well as a Master Thesis, allowing students to apply their learning in a real-world finance setting. This approach ensures that students don’t just learn about finance; they actively participate and make an impact in the field.
Connections with the industry
- The program offers a robust theoretical grounding in finance, paired with frequent opportunities to connect this learning with practical applications through regular interactions with key industry stakeholders. This blend of theory and practice enhances the educational experience, making it more relevant and effective for students.

The Thesis is carried out under the supervision of a Thesis Advisor and is focused on a research question identified by the student. The topic chosen by the student must be approved by the Thesis Advisor and must be pertinent to the finance business.
The language of the Master’s Thesis must be English.
The Thesis bears 25 ECTS and students must defend it orally in the presence of the Thesis Advisor and of a Discussant.
