B.S.N. to D.N.P. Program
The online B.S.N. to D.N.P. degree enables registered nurses who have earned a bachelor of science in nursing degree to take a more direct approach to obtain a highly valuable D.N.P. degree in the family nurse practitioner track. The program consists of 78 credit hours and 1,260 supervised practicum hours. Progression in this program must be continuous and a master’s-level degree is not awarded for partial completion. The program can be completed in as little as three years but must be completed within five years of enrollment.
M.S.N. to D.N.P. Program
The M.S.N. to D.N.P. online degree path is designed for master’s-level nurses looking to earn a terminal doctor of nursing practice degree and gain targeted skills in one of two specialized tracks: nurse practitioner or executive leader. The M.S.N. to D.N.P. program prepares students to work with interdisciplinary teams, make ethical and informed decisions, and implement evidence-based solutions to complex healthcare challenges. This online doctoral program consists of 39+ credit hours and a minimum of 1,000 hours of supervised practicum. Students may transfer up to 500 hours from prior graduate coursework.

B.S.N. to D.N.P. – Family Nurse Practitioner
The B.S.N. to D.N.P. – Family Nurse Practitioner program consists of 78 credit hours and 1,260 hours of supervised practicum and can be completed in just three years. The B.S.N. to D.N.P. program online immerses students in both the theory and practice of primary care through a curriculum that combines advanced nursing practice, informatics, and healthcare leadership coursework.
Upon graduation, students will be qualified to sit for the American Association of Nurse Practitioners Family Nurse Practitioner exam or the American Nurses Credentialing Center exam for Family Nurse Practitioners.

M.S.N. to D.N.P.
The M.S.N. to D.N.P. program of the M.S.N. to D.N.P. program equips master’s-level nurses with advanced skills in both clinical practice and healthcare leadership. The advanced knowledge and experience gained in the nurse practitioner track prepare graduates to become influential nurse leaders who bring a superior level of care to patients.
To enroll in the M.S.N. to D.N.P. online nurse practitioner track, students must already be certified nurse practitioners and hold a master’s degree in nursing. The program consists of 39 credits and 540 hours of supervised practicum; certification as a nurse practitioner automatically allows for the transfer of 460 graduate practicum hours to be applied to the overall 1,000-hour requirement.
