Introduction

Study Abroad Semester Lorenzo de’ Medici

Study Abroad Programs at LdM in Florence and Tuscany

Choose a study abroad program at Lorenzo de' Medici (LdM) - one of Italy’s most well-established international institutions in higher education. Students can choose between a range of courses in multiple disciplines and customize their study program to suit their academic and personal goals.

Students can study at one of LdM's two campuses:

  • LdM Florence is right in the very heart of the Renaissance city - ideal for studying fine arts, design, art history, and creative and culinary arts.
  • LdM Tuscania, a historic hill town in the Latium countryside, offers students a real immersive Italian experience, with courses such as Italian language and culture, fine arts, culinary arts, sustainable tourism, and hands-on courses in organic agriculture.

Semester programs start in Fall and Spring. Students can also apply for a whole Academic Year Program; for three-week January programs; for four-week Summer programs during the summer, as well as for special four-week Summer workshops in Fine Arts Conservation (LdM Florence), Stop Motion (LdM Florence), Archaeology Field School (LdM Tuscania), and Yoga and Wellness Workshop (LdM Tuscania).

All courses are taught in English, except for Italian Language and Culture.
