Master in Material Physics and Chemistry

The discipline of material science and engineering consists of 3 subordinate discipline of master on material science, material processing engineering, and materials physics and chemistry. This discipline aims to study the structure, processing, and properties of one material and investigate the relationships of these factors. The mandatory core courses include material analysis and characterization, selected topics of materials physics and so on. The main research area covers valence electron structure and materials design, the theory and application of material structure control under an external field.

matrix analysis, Foundations of materials science, Material analysis and characterization, Engineering Material, Modern functional material, Mechanical properties of metals.

Application Requirement

1. Possess bachelor degree above,
2. Provide undergraduate diploma notarized copies and transcript or notarized copies of undergraduate courses. When the diploma is neither Chinese or English, you should provide notarized Chinese or English translated documents,
3. Provide research or study plan in China (1500 at least), written in Chinese or English,
4. Provide recommendation letters by two professionals or associate professionals.

Curriculum Requirement:

The post-graduate courses include general courses, basic courses, specialized courses, and practice. Master course requires no less than 24 credits, including 10 general courses and 4 practice credits. All the courses are taught in English other than courses related to Chinese language and Chinese culture.

Paper Requirement:

Graduates should finish their paper independently. The graduate paper should reflect graduates’ creativity, practicability, and progressiveness.
