Introduction

The composition of the proposed curriculum of architecture agrees with National Architectural Accreditation Board [NAAB] curricular requirements, which specifies that a minimum of 20 per cent of the total credits required for the completion of the program must be satisfied by courses in liberal studies. The remainder of the curriculum must be divided between required architectural courses satisfying the performance criteria with a maximum of 60 per cent and electives totalling a minimum of 20 per cent of the total required credits for a degree.
