Introduction
The profession of a diplomat refers to professions of exclusively mental (creative or intellectual labor). In work, sensory systems, attention, memory, activation of thinking, and the emotional sphere are essential. Diplomats are distinguished by their erudition, curiosity, rationality, and analytical mindset.
Tasks:
Instilling skills and abilities for timely provision of relevant and reliable information, generalization and forecasting of trends in the development of international relations and foreign policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
Formation of students' systemic knowledge of the history and theory of international relations, based on basic ideas about the mechanisms of the development of the world order, as well as on the experience of the activities of international institutional structures;
Developing students' ability to think and act in a situational mode (taking into account the peculiarities of the national mentality, typology of organizational structures, legal traditions, and the specifics of social mobility);
The acquisition by students of the skills of political and global forecasting, business etiquette, record keeping.
Sphere of professional activity:
The system of international relations, the activities of international organizations and associations, problems and trends in the development of world politics, issues of national security of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other states, the activities of government bodies and organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan working in the field of foreign policy relations, pedagogical activities.
