The program places great emphasis on the academic study of French in all its aspects, ranging from the theoretical and historical study of the language and literature to the creative mastery of the living language, both spoken and written. Theoretical courses alternate with seminars - and both will develop your academic and communicative skills. Our team of internationally renowned specialists will prepare you for a career in communication, intercultural relations, teaching, translation, linguistics and research, or in the broad media sector.

The main goal of the Master's degree in French Language and Literature is to scientifically study these disciplines in both their fundamental and applied aspects.
