A BSc in Global finance and accounting will help you gain knowledge of the basics of finance and accounting. The program of this course of study includes knowledge of economics and finance as well as familiarizes students with the financial mechanisms of the functioning of the modern market economy, its institutions and economic entities.

Specialties

  • Banking, Financial Markets and Insurance
    Students will gain comprehensive knowledge of the functioning of financial markets and the analysis of financial instruments. Students participating in the program aligned with the CFA certification will gain information and skills recognized worldwide as necessary for the proper performance of professions related to the investment industry. By acquiring knowledge from the CFA Program and the Code of Ethics, future financial analysts will gain a strong foundation preparing them for membership in one of the largest and most prestigious professional organizations - the CFA Institute. In the first-cycle studies, the Banking, Financial Markets and Insurance specialization is aligned with the requirements of the CFA Level 1 accreditation.
  • Accounting and Corporate Finance
    Students will gain knowledge of the economic, managerial, financial and legal aspects of running a business activity of various entities. They will acquire a wide range of skills, from measuring and documenting business operations through their recording, preparing financial statements and auditing. The knowledge and skills acquired also include issues of management accounting, controlling, modern cost accounting systems, measuring the performance of enterprises and institutions, computer-aided accounting and analysis of the financial situation of an entity, which is the basis for making decisions about the future. The specialization program is adapted to ACCA and CIMA certification. In the 1st degree studies, the specialization includes subjects preparing for ACCA certification, such as Accounting, Financial Accounting, Basic Law, Trade Law, Introduction to Management and Cost Accounting and Basics of Management with Elements of Business Ethics. In the 1st degree studies, the Accounting and Corporate Finance specialization prepares for CIMA certification at the CBA level (Certificate in Business Accounting) from BA1, BA3 and BA4 modules.
