Introduction

The Korean Studies major aims to educate students in an integrated way based on Korean traditional culture, popular culture, society, language, literature, and media, in order to make them improve their practical skills and knowledge. The major is to teach students about problem-solving skills for dealing with the changes in Korean culture, and eventually to produce 'Creative Future-Oriented Students' who will lead the 'Culture-Technology Age'.

Subjects offered by the major are: 'Cultural Informatization of Professional Knowledge of Korean Studies', 'Technicalization of Information related to Korean Studies', 'Development of Creative Project for Entering Korean Cultural Business', and ' Global Communication by Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language'.
