Introduction

Graduates gain extended and in-depth specialist knowledge in the field of geodesy and cartography and real estate management, have team management skills, show creative initiative, have the ability to make decisions and deal with complex technical, legal and administrative tasks and problems. They also have knowledge of related sciences, which enables them to cooperate with representatives of other professions in the implementation of complex investment or IT tasks. They have knowledge of the legal and technological foundations of geodesy and cartography, as well as the guidelines of the EU directives on spatial information infrastructure. They have in-depth and expanded knowledge of geodetic measurements, enabling them to obtain geodetic qualifications in particular scopes. They have skills and knowledge in the field of real estate trading and management as well as their valuation. Graduates of the field of study find employment in surveying companies and enterprises conducting investment activities and requiring measurements, in administrative and local government units, as well as in other institutions using both measurement and IT skills of employees. They are prepared to undertake third cycle (doctoral) studies.
