Key Summary
As sustainability regulations become stricter and supply chains face growing climate and resource risks, organisations need leaders who can turn environmental challenges into real opportunities. Sustainable Management and Production master’s study programme combines environmental engineering, manufacturing, and business management to help students design and implement sustainability-driven change. The programme is delivered in a blended format with weekend and evening classes, making it possible to combine studies with work. Coordinated by KTU Institute of Environmental Engineering (APINI), the programme focuses on practical learning through real-world cases, applied research, and a final project addressing industry needs. Graduates are prepared for careers in sustainability management, consulting, and sustainable technology development in international settings.
The programme blends engineering and management modules to build a sustainability toolkit from assessment to implementation, with flexibility through up to 15 electives. This programme provides students with:
- soft skills: leadership, stakeholder communication, teamwork across disciplines;
- hard skills: cleaner production, circular economy strategies, eco-design;
- methods and tools: life-cycle thinking, LCA, risk control, data-informed decision-making;
- practical experience: real-world cases, applied research, and a final project.
Funding opportunities
All international students automatically become candidates to receive the Scholarship for International Students, which is assigned to first-year Bachelor's or Master's students with strong academic records and motivation.
