Graduates will set up and develop their own business - create their own farms, work in agricultural companies and organizations, in companies providing landscaping services.

Having chosen the speciality of Horticulture, you will learn:

β€’ to evaluate agri-environment in Lithuania and the EU;

β€’ the morphology and bioecological properties of plants;

β€’ the principles of rational land use and the impact of economic activities on the environment;

β€’ to perform research and summarize the results based on information technology, scientific literature and other information;

β€’ to evaluate the quality of agricultural production;

β€’ how to organize and plan a specialized farm, the patterns of harvest and its quality formation, the realization of products;

β€’ to provide advice on plants cultivation and care;

β€’ the existing laws, you will understand Lithuanian business environment;

β€’ to evaluate the quality of agricultural production;

β€’ to create and manage an agricultural business and communicate with agricultural specialists and the public to solve business problems.
