Introduction

The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences (4-year program) was established in 2004, and in 2006 we began a 6-year program which focuses on developing pharmacists who can contribute to community-based healthcare through drug therapy. Japan is one of the world's rapidly ageing societies, so healthcare providers such as pharmacists need to engage not only in medical treatment for patients, but also in healthcare management. Our program covers various health-related fields to achieve total healthcare practice.
