Course

The first year the course is divided into different subjects that are intertwined with each other. During the first year you will see subjects such as: modeling and patternmaking, sewing, creativity and design, project.

The second year everything learned will be put into practice, carrying out projects from start to finish, that is, it will be designed, illustrated, modeled, patterned and made with haute couture finishes.

The third year the student will create a collection, as a result of the knowledge acquired during the previous two years of the Haute Couture Designer and Modelist course. In addition, the student will conduct a training in the workplace (400-500 hours) where he experiences first-hand work life.

Registration Procedure and Legal Clauses

To formalize the enrollment at the Javier Barroeta Haute Couture School, it is necessary to contact the school by email and state the course in which you are interested.

The school will contact the student and ask for a series of personal data to complete a pre-registration form.

This form, in which a student number will be assigned to the student, will be sent to the student's email.

To be able to leave the pre-registration closed, it is necessary to make a first payment of the total price of the course, as a place reservation. This first payment will be deducted from the total amount of the course price. This outstanding amount (course price - first payment) will be paid during the school year as agreed by student and school.

Once the pre-registration and payment have been made as a place reservation, the student already has everything formalized to start the course.

On the first day of the course, the student will receive a notebook containing all the details of the course, details such as: schedule, calendar, syllabus, teaching staff, operation of the school, etc.

In addition, this first day will be signed between the school and the student an unregulated teaching contract, an image use authorization document and the data protection law.

For the course to take place there must be a minimum of 5 formalized enrollments. If the course is not taught, the decision will be communicated to those affected 15 days before the start of the course. Due to this, the enrollment period will be closed 15 days before the start of the course in question. In the event that the course is not taught, the full amount paid by the student will be refunded as a place reservation.

The student may exercise the right of withdrawal, which consists in the total cancellation of their registration with the right to the refund of the total amount, provided that this cancellation is requested within 14 calendar days after the formalization and signing of the teaching contract. If for reasons beyond the Javier Barroeta Haute Couture School, the student after the withdrawal period decides not to take the course for reasons other than force majeure, said amount will not be refunded.
