Real Estate is one of the major sectors that contribute to the national economy of most countries. Real estate activities cover not only the property market but include property development, property finance & investment, property law, property management, business and property valuation. Real estate includes both tangible and intangible assets such as patent rights, copyrights, goodwill, royalty, vacant land, residential, retail, office, agriculture and special properties. BREMA is a program for students majoring in real estate and auction. Students are taught essential knowledge and skills in business, real estate and auction that permit them to practice as registered valuers, estate agents, property managers, property developers, property investment consultants, and auctioneers. Students will attain professional skills to ensure ethical and legal practice.

Thus they can be registered with The Board of Valuers, Appraisers and Estate Agents Malaysia, and can apply for licenses to practice as an auctioneer from the respective State authorities. The curriculum is designed in line with the requirements of the Board of Valuers, Appraisers and Estate Agents Malaysia (BoVAEA), The Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) and The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, United Kingdom (RICS).
