Key Summary
Introduction
With an MBA in Healthcare Management, you’ll boost your chances of becoming a successful healthcare executive. In the first part of your studies, you’ll focus on developing important management skills. You’ll then move on to industry specific knowledge, when combined with your fundamental business knowledge, will help you apply strategic and operational thinking in ways that fit the healthcare industry.
This programme is available onsite at IU's international campus, in Berlin, and you’ll have the option to continue with an 18-month post-study work visa, which allows you to work in and explore Germany. Further more, you will have the opportunity to learn in small study groups and apply your knowledge practically.

Hospital administrator
Hospital administrators are responsible for organising and overseeing the health services and daily activities of a hospital or healthcare facility. As an administrator, you will manage staff and budgets, communicate between departments to maintain the smooth running of services, and ensure adequate patient care amongst other duties.
Account manager for hospitals
As an Account Manager, you support hospitals in your area of expertise and are the contact person for hospital management and hospital pharmacies. You work on building long-term customer relationships, develop and advise your customers regarding their sales goals, measures, projects, responsibilities and investments. In addition, you analyse the positions of your customers with regard to new forms of care and systematically review their activities focusing on new potentials and developments.
