Career Opportunities
Career Possibilities
E-Sports Management MBA graduates can expect excellent career opportunities in an increasingly popular entertainment sector. Your strong business administration knowledge and industry familiarity will help you land a position in E-Sports events management, team management or media relations and digital communities management. Some of your future career prospects include:
E-Sports Manager Media & Community Management
Interact and engage with new audiences and dedicated fans, nurture and build relationships and communities of fandom, and help teams and the industry in general reach more exposure. This role requires familiarity with a wide range of social media channels and their different modes of communication and engagement, ensuring that you’ll always be motivated and on your toes as you look for new trends and opportunities.
Event Manager E-Sports
The role of an E-Sports event manager is a challenging and demanding one, but also highly rewarding: as an event manager, you’ll be responsible for organising, coordinating and overseeing E-Sports events both big and small. You’ll get the opportunity to promote the industry by successfully managing events and drawing bigger crowds, but that requires the ability to be calm under pressure, act fast and be an excellent communicator.
Team Manager E-Sports
Team managers work closely with single E-Sports athletes/players, or with teams that feature several E-Sports talents. As a team manager, you’ll be in charge of managing their careers, helping them prepare for major events, earn sponsorships and hunt for new opportunities. It’s a great role for those who are looking to combine both savvy business skills and strong leadership traits.
