Data science is about unearthing new knowledge by doing detective work in large amounts of data - also known as big data. All over the world, enormous amounts of data are collected for, among other things, market research, health prevention, disaster prediction and investment analysis. However, there is a widespread lack of professionals with the right skills to derive knowledge from this data. With a bachelor's degree in Data Science, you gain skills that are in high demand on the labor market.

On the course, you gain comprehensive analytical and technical skills that cover all aspects of handling and analyzing data. You gain a good business understanding and the ability to translate complicated analyses. On the course, you will also learn to work in interdisciplinary teams and create projects in close collaboration with business.

During the three-year education, you will be taught technical subjects such as mathematics and statistics, programming, machine learning, data management and algorithm development, and you will follow courses in data visualization, communication and critical reflection. Through the course, you will gain insight into both natural and social science methods.
