Introduction
The Fashion Design Course allows you to obtain the First Level Academic Diploma, equivalent to a bachelor’s degree and aligned with international university standards.
The 3-year course in Fashion Design, equivalent to a university bachelor’s degree provides students with a solid and academic preparation to become Fashion Designers; the course aims to train students to professionally plan a fashion collection, complete with shoes, bags, and leather accessories.
A study abroad experience at Istituto Modartech offers students a unique learning environment, that combines design creativity with hands-on skills, in the territorial context of one of the most important fashion districts in Europe: the so-called ”Fashion Production District”.
The constant support of teachers and industry experts will nurture students’ creativity allowing them to fully develop their personalities as contemporary designers. Attendance to Milan and Florence fashion weeks, a field trip to Premiere Vision in Paris during the final year, and a practical internship complete the course.
There is no other place to study Fashion Design in Italy as this area: just 45 mins away from Florence, 15 mins from Pisa, yet still out of the main touristic routes, allowing international students to be immersed in the Italian culture.
Students visibility
Istituto Modartech promotes its students with several initiatives, exhibiting projects and final works. In particular, the event at the conclusion of the academic year represents a unique opportunity for students’ visibility.
Fashion shows, photo shoots, interviews, career weeks, and fashion contests represent a framework that allows Fashion Design students to express their talent, preparing them to face the challenges of work.

Internship
The Internship is held at the end of the course to complete the training path and consolidate the skills acquired during the training. A full hands-on immersion into the creative and production processes, in close contact with industry professionals in Italy and abroad.
