Key Summary
As well known, the economy is one of the most essential factors influencing the individuals in a society. In that regard, ensuring economic growth and welfare is a strategic issue for all countries, particularly for the developing ones including Turkey. The dynamics of the system, on the other hand, are mainly shaped by the behavior and decisions of economic agents. Correspondingly, the field of finance has been gaining increasing importance over the last decades with an additional momentum gathered through globalization.
Hence, inspired by the integrated nature of economics and finance, our department was founded based on a strong interdisciplinary approach and aims at graduating “competent” individuals required in the field.
In this framework, the mission of the Istanbul Medipol Economics and Finance program is to provide world-class undergraduate education through a curriculum that integrates theory and practice, by a dynamic faculty who have local and international experience in both academia and industry.
Our program is offered in the language of English and targets much more than providing a solid theoretical background. It was designed in a way that combines theory with analysis, evaluation and policy making which will be of great use to your work life or further academic career.
At Istanbul Medipol Economics and Finance, we are excited to have set out on a journey heading to meaningful and concrete targets. We would be more than pleased to have your company along the way.
