Key Summary
In the post-graduate Psychology and Management degree program, you will be trained in the main professional fields for business psychologists - marketing, consulting, and human resources management. In the first semester of the Master's in Business Psychology, you will receive a general and broad education in applied psychology in a business context.
The specialization in the second semester prepares you for a future career on a scientific basis. You will then apply your knowledge directly in research and consulting projects. The study program also includes a semester abroad at one of ISM's international partner universities. This way you can get to know intercultural particularities of business psychology and even can complete a second international degree (double degree) at a partner university if you are interested in doing so.
This Master is offered at the main ISM Campus in Dortmund 100% in English language.
Earn an International Double Degree
With ISM and a partner university you can earn an international double degree in business psychology. This means that, in addition to your ISM Master's degree, you will receive a second, internationally recognized Master's degree. Depending on the partner university, this is even possible as part of an integrated semester abroad, allowing you to earn two Master's degrees in just two or two and a half years.
Fast track your studies in just 3 semesters
With the option "Fast Track" the semester abroad is omitted and you shorten your internship period. This allows you to complete your master's degree in only 3 semesters. Prerequisite: you bring 210 ECTS from your Bachelor (an alternative admission to Fast Track is possible via demonstrated work experience or by taking the ISM Pre-Master).

The M.Sc. Psychology & Management combines two exciting disciplines: business administration and psychology. In the foundation semester, you will receive a general and broad education in applied psychology in a business context. Building on this, you will specialize in the 2nd semester and spend a semester abroad at one of our numerous partner universities in the 3rd semester.
The course ends with a practice-oriented Master's thesis in the 4th semester.
