Our classes take place during short periods of one/two weeks, four times a year. This structure makes our program ideal to those who need to balance a professional career with an academic journey. Students take the opportunity to expend part of their PhD time visiting other international schools we have partnerships with.

The fact that you may combine a strong training in Management with a focused approached on another scientific field of interest provides you with a greater set of tools.

All courses are lectured by teachers whose research focus is on the broad areas under scope.

Throughout the year you will be lectured by foreign professors, specialists on the theme under analysis.

·Support for conference attendance
In order to support and stimulate PhD students to attend and participate in international conferences, BRU-Iscte supports the expenses (limited reimbursement) according to the internal rules.

·Internal Scholarships for PhD students
Iscte offers competitive grants for PhD students. Usually there are two independent calls for applications:

Soft Skills Scholarship: performed for educational support activities within the bachelor degree Soft Skills curricular units;

Other Internal Scholarships: For developing pedagogical and technical skills at specific department fields or to support research projects at BRU-Iscte.

PhD in Management is taught in English.

The annual fee is 3000 €.The annual fee can be paid in one time or in 9 separate payments.
